The thrill of a good ride is all over the face of Kelly Slater during the September 9, 2011 finals. Slater ultimately placed second behind Owen Wright in Quicksilver Pro's first professional event ever held on the East Coast of the United States. The waters off of Long Beach, NY did not disappoint the participant or the crowds.
